Sony Shoot

In January 2012, I was fortunate enough to land a job on the set of a Sony Europe shoot. Sony had run a competition where three chosen stories would be made and the writers would win a Sony camera. Philip Bloom (http://www.philipbloom.net/) was the man chosen to direct and shoot the videos. I was chosen to be the Stills Photographer/Intern for the day. I helped with a variety of tasks and was able to learn a great deal from the other crew members.

Unfortunately, I was unable to retain any copies of the stills I captured as they were solely for use on Philip Bloom’s blog. The above photo was taken by another intern. The photo I can be seen capturing (I am on the edge of the ring, on the right side of the frame) can be found on the following page of Philip Bloom’s Propic account: http://propic.com/23kc.

Another of the photos I took can be seen here: http://propic.com/23jZ. This body rig was custom built by James Miller (http://www.millerandmiller.co.uk/) for the shoot and the man wearing it is the intern, Sander Saar, who took the photo above.
